Noatum Logistics renews its AEO certificate

AEO Customs simplification and security

The reassessment of the company is adapted to the new Community Customs Code

Noatum Logistics Spain has renewed its AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Certificate in Customs Simplifications and Security and Safety after being successfully re-assessed by the Spanish revenue & customs agency (Agencia Tributaria). The company had already been certificated in 2009 but the implementation of a new Community Customs Code on May 2016 has brought to a reassessment of all existing certificates against higher standards and stricter criteria.

AEO is a certificate that ensures the application of rigorous and effective security measures and facilitates the flow of goods in the international logistics chain, as well as the fight against the terrorist threat, organised crime and public defence against other dangers. Its renewal reaffirms Noatum Logistics’ commitment to be recognized as a safe and reliable operator in the supply chain.

Noatum Logistics, the logistics unit of Noatum Maritime, is present in Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco and Chile and provides services around the world through a wide network of agents.
