Specifically, Noatum Terminal Castell\u00f3n handled the following cargo volumes in 2021:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bulk Cargo: 1,957,538 tonnes.<\/li>\n<li>General cargo: 54,390 tonnes<\/li>\n<li>Containers: 43,744 containers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The milestone of exceeding <strong>21 million tonnes handled<\/strong> was marked with an event that brought together 21 representatives of the Castell\u00f3n port community at the Cer\u00e1mica quay, including <strong>Rafa Sim\u00f3<\/strong>, president of the Castell\u00f3n Port Authority. On behalf of the Noatum Group, <strong>Oscar Magdalena<\/strong>, director of Noatum Terminal Castell\u00f3n, was present.<\/p>\n<p>Noatum&#8217;s terminal in Castell\u00f3n is a multipurpose terminal that offers comprehensive container, unitized and project cargo services, as well as solid and liquid bulk cargo.<\/p>\n<p>In its commitment to continue optimising operational flows and to manage with excellence the growing increase in the volumes transited in the North Basin, <strong>Noatum Terminal Castell\u00f3n has acquired a new crane model LHM550<\/strong>, with a load capacity of 144 tonnes and an outreach of 54 metres, which will arrive at the port in the coming months.
