Only during the last year, NCTT loaded 21,000 tonnes of this particular cargo in 40 livestock vessels calling at Tarragona.<\/p>\n<p>The Port of Tarragona is one of the few Spanish Mediterranean ports with a special authorization from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment for the loading of livestock. The port is also equipped with all the services needed for the animals\u2019 welfare, including veterinarian examination, triage area and open spaces for inspecting trucks.<\/p>\n<p>The success of NCTT proves the Group\u2019s commitment to promoting the traffic diversification as well as bringing other countries closer to Spanish livestock
