Leadership in rail logistics in the Iberian Peninsula

Noatum Rail Terminal Zaragoza established in 2013 to provide intermodal services for the logistic centre Zaragoza Plaza. The terminal was established with the aim of enhancing the rail corridors linking the ports of Bilbao and Valencia with Zaragoza and the Centre and the South of the Iberian peninsula with the rest of Spain.

The strategic location, first class facilities and design up to European standards combined with its capacity makes the terminal one of the most important hubs of the Spanish General Public Rail Network.


  • Total Area: 75.000 m2
  • 6 railway tracks:
    • 5 x 850 m.
    • 1 x 690 m.
  • Maximum Capacity (loading/unloading of UTIs operations): 165.000 UTIs/year
  • Storage capacity: 3.300 TEUs
  • Capacity for simultaneous treatment of railway (railway operations): 19 trains of 850 m.


  • 1 crane RMG-TAIM.
  • 3 Reach Stacker.
  • All of them equipped with Piggy back for the handling of containers and swap bodies.


  • SACIM system for the management of rolling stock and circulation RENFE.
  • SACICO system for commercial billing and tracking of RENFE containers.
  • VHF/UHF radio communication for land-based and sea-based operations at the terminal; radiotelephone for rail operations. Radio frequency/wi-fi for work order management at the terminal.


  • Permanent surveillance 7 x 24 hrs.
  • Acces control 7 x 24 hrs.
  • Fenced terminal.



  • From 06:00 to 22:00 hrs. from Monday to Friday.
